Entitled Koumy’s Sail:
Koumy was my all-time favorite horse, born and bred by me, and loved beyond measure. I often let him roam freely across the property, doing whatever his spirit desired. He lived a pampered, divine life. His struggle with laminitis began after a series of early West Nile vaccines when he was around seven, and from that moment on I became an expert in founder—trying every herbal remedy, soaking low-sugar hay, consulting farriers, and exploring every path of healing I could find. Despite all efforts, the day came when even the bay leaves would no longer burn, and Koumy chose to leave on his own. I buried him in his corral with eight dozen red roses. To this day, he remains my greatest animal spirit guide—helping find lost things for people and offering healing in ways only he can. Amore Mio forever, Koumy.
Maxi — beauty, gentleness and new beginnings
Maxi, one of Baby Boy’s lovely female kitties, stands out among all others for her exceptional beauty and gentle nature. She never complains and moves through life with quiet grace. Soon, this intact little queen will have a litter with my tomcat, Bietta. As one of my cherished housecats, she will raise her kittens safely and lovingly under my care.

Where Every Cat Finds Comfort, Freedom, and Unconditional Love.
Garcon and Dee were lifelong best friends, both now passed, but their legacy lives on in my sanctuary. Garcon was reincarnated as Papa Tetee, the gentle caretaker of a rescued litter that included Dee—also known as Simeon—who, with his half-Siamese, half-tabby charm, became my favorite. Dee grew into a loving housecat and even raised a litter of his own from Baby Boy and Boo, a rescued Siamese female. Over time, I have become a full cat sanctuary, caring for 25–40 cats in a serene environment with seven outdoor enclosures, allowing each cat to choose whether they prefer sanctuary life, barn life, or the open yard.

Honoring Sopha and Zoey, Two Souls of Grace and Spirit.
Sopha and Zoey, the yawning littermates shown at the top, are approaching 17 years old. Sopha—my beloved “Purrfection of So”—is a gentle yet resilient dilute calico who spends her nights safely in an enclosure like many of my cats. She’s currently on Carnivora and antibiotics, and I worry she may be nearing her time. Zoey, her spirited brother, is a true living spirit guide with remarkable vitality. He chooses when to stay in the heated enclosure, especially during winter, and brings endless laughter as the natural comedian of the sanctuary.

Amore Mio — For the Eternal Love of Carson.
All for the Love of Carson truly says it all. He was my closest companion, my friend above all else, from the moment I discovered him under a truck on a giant tire. Carson later developed diabetes, and I cared for him faithfully for more than seven years until he passed. My late husband once said, “Anything you love that much, I do as well,” and Carson embodied that shared devotion. When he died beside me in his basket, he passed through my body, filling me with an indescribable, sparkling euphoria like Christmas morning, pure joy at dawn. Carson remains one of my most powerful animal spirit guides, forever cherished.
